Tampium
Attested: Inscription .... A TAMPIO ...
Where: Unknown.
Name origin: Tampius shows up quite often among Roman personal names on epitaphs. It probably originated in Italy.
Notes: R&S seemed quite confident that A TAMPIO (on a lengthy inscription) referred to the place of writing a letter, and not, for example, its bearer. Maybe it referred to the house of a Tampius.
